The titanium Triad XE was designed with ease of use in mind.The stove burns either alcohol or fuel tabs.Alcohol is used by filling the center container and then placing a few drops between the inner and outer container.Light the outer drops of alcohol and the stove primes immediately or if alcohol is unavailable, remove the inner container for the perfect fuel tab stove.Characteristics of burning alcohol in the XE include intense heat during the priming stage and simmering heat once primed.Once primed the stove burns slow and uses very little alcohol which is great for simmering noodles but not so great for simply boiling water.The stove is truly dual-fuel and understanding which fuel to use
