Better Bitters is extremely bitter, over 100 times as bitter as most competing products Better Bitters is non staining and can be used on any water safe surface. It contains no alcohol (alcohol can dry a bird's skin and could be a problem if ingested). In their natural habitat birds have unlimited access to the nutritional and mental stimuli necessary to sustain a healthy and fulfilling life. This is, unfortunately, not the case in captivity. Even the most sincere attempts to duplicate a natural environment, leave us with room for improvement. Absence of these essential nutritional and mental stimuli can be detrimental.
